Help!
All of a sudden the members of our Writer role, which does not have Publish rights, cannot send drafts for review. Our Writers have been successfully editing pages and sending them for review for months. This week we've discovered that the Writers for all three of our Contribute sites cannot send drafts for review.
The two radio button choices ("Send e-mail with a link to a preview of the draft" and "Send the draft to another Contribute user") that normally appear at the top of the "Send for Review" dialog have disappeared.
I've created a new Writer2 role (based on a Publisher role) and then adjusted all the settings for that role to match the configuration for the original Writer role, but that didn't work. But when I add publishing rights to the Writer or Writer2 roles, members of those roles can then send draft review requests. But we don't want those roles to have publishing rights, so we are stuck and cannot use Contribute.
Any clues to what may have changed? Our Writers are completely stuck since they now cannot request draft reviews (and we don't want to give them publishing rights).
