Slow approval process

Hi All,

We are having a weird problem with approving files in Contribute. Whenever our web person receives an approval request it takes 5 or 10 minutes for the approval process. We thought maybe it might have to do with the fact that we had an older server. Even after upgrading to a new server it has not changed things. Computer specs are:

Dual 3.0ghz Quad Core
8gb RAM
Windows server 2003
750gb data drive
Apache
WSFTP Server 7.0

Has anyone run into this behavior?
