When I open the site in Contribute CS5, it moves items down the page that arn't in editiable regions

Site was created in DW CS5 and as long as it is edited in DW it is fine. The minute you click edit in Contribute CS5 text, links and divs are shoved down the page. This is before I event touch anything in an editable region and the items that are affected are not in an editable region??? If I go ahead and make changes in the editiable region and save, it saves with all those items bumped down the page. I convinced a client that Contribute was the way to go, they bought 3 licenses and now can't edit thier site.

Any ideas?
