Does anyone have an idea as to whether adobe will be releasing Contribute CS5.
I have CS4 design premium and it comes with incontext editing which pretty is similar to contribute for updating and at the moment it is free. (comes if you have dreamweaver cs4)
A friend of mine wants to update their site and I have suggested getting Contribute CS4 but if he purchases a suite with DWCS4 then he will have incontext editing.
I have looked at the adobe contribute cs4 features on the adobe site but apart from a few movies it does not list the full features and capabilities of Contribute CS4 and also on the Adobe.TV section there are no videos demonstrating Contribute CS4 but there are for Incontext Editing which is strange as Contribute has been part of Adobe for a lot longer. It is these facts that make me think that Contribute CS4 will be the last version and Adobe will go with Incontext Editing instead. (Probably be a subscription service rather than the free as at present)
Does anyone else have any ideas as to why Contribute CS4 has less promotion and support online from Adobe than other products?
What do you think? (Or I am just paranoid)
