I've tried other threads to get this addressed with no luck. I know I'm not the only one having the problem of Contribute renaming images by adding a three digit suffix, where 'photo.jpg' becomes 'photo_001.jpg' after editing. Doesn't seem to matter whether the image is new, taken off my computer, or taken from the server, edited and reloaded, Contribute insists on doing this ridiculously stupid thing. What moron thought this was a good idea? I've got boatloads of JavaScripts already written with the names of images my client is trying to edit and I shouldn't have to go in and rewrite all those scripts just because Contribute wants to be an idiot. Staring to wish I'd never gotten involved with this junk application.
Any ideas on how to stop this from happening?
