I need some help. I have set up contribute pub serv and have
it set up that my contribute changes are placed on my development
server when published. I have also followed the steps outlined in
the Zach Roth article about cps auto deployments using coldfusion
and sql with my goal being that when I hit publish it pushes the
changes up to my production server.
The page is saving to the dev server but not the prod server. The cps error log gives me the following:
3:48 PM 10/23/2008 2008-21-10 15:06:21: "error"- Could not back up C:/Program Files/Macromedia/Contribute Publishing Server/jrun4/servers/contribute-wps/contribute/WEB-INF/config/ckm.xml : Attribute validation error for tag CFFILE. The value of the attribute source, which is currently "C:/Program Files/Macromedia/Contribute Publishing Server/jrun4/servers/contribute-wps/contribute/WEB-INF/config/ckm.xml ", is invalid.
The path is correct and the user that is set to run the server has admin rights (full control) to everything along the line. I have been working this problem for days and really need some help.
The other method of manually deploying not using the database works fine. Unfortunately my goal is to fully automate the process based on contribute permissions.
